I've swapped over to an iPhone 14 Pro recently from a Galaxy S21 and have noticed a few apps are not scaled very well; for example the Amex app. I've also noticed text seems to be larger in Safari or Chrome when browsing compared to my old phone. I've tried:

  • Making sure Display Zoom is set to default.
  • Text size set to minimum in Display & Brightness.
  • Ensuring Zoom is off under Accessibility.
  • Making sure larger text sizes under Display & Text size is off.
  • Trying to change per app settings under Accessibility.
  • Adding text scaling to control centre to change things this way.
I also did some looking on google and from what I understood, apps that aren't compiled/built using Xcode 13 won't automatically scale their resolutions, I wonder if this could be the issue as it's very obvious in a few apps but not in others.

Is there any other settings that I could try to change otherwise?

Thanks

Hi! Maybe it depends on the settings of the display itself? Have you tried to contact technical support Apple?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the display, I think iOS just can't scale text small enough for my liking, and other apps aren't built to use the phone's native resolution. I may just have to get used to until/if the developers release a new version.
