Hi.
Last year, when ProRes filming came there was a limitation;
For recording ProRes video in 4K at 30 frames per second, higher 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage capacities are required.
So, the 128GB model is limited to recording those videos in 1080p at 30fps.

Have anyone found out if it’s like this on iPhone 14 Pro 128GB also?
 
I haven’t heard anything definitive, but would guess it to be the same as last year. The other consideration for higher storage would be the file size of 48MP photos. If you will taking a lot of photos and videos, it might be worth it.

That's a good point. Having just talked myself down from the need for 256gb for the prores capability I am now wondering again. But I have 2TB of iCloud so that should be fine I guess.

Extra storage might be worth it for peace of mind, but you could always offload photos to iCloud if you’re reaching storage limits too.
