I put my 14 Pro Max on my wireless charger last night and this morning the phone was completely unresponsive. Screen would not turn on and the only way to get the phone to respond was to force restart it. Once it finally turned on it was very sluggish but battery was at 100%, so it didn't run out of power.
This has never happened before and it was the same scenario after transferring data during the initial reset which Apple said got patched in iOS 16.0.2. Hopefully this is just another iOS 16 bug but makes me worry about relying on the iPhone as my alarm.
