It was charged 100% for the longest time and then I was out in the grocery store and the iphone just went dark, soft reset and hard reset will not work and DFU is not working, I only felt it vibrate it for like half a second but nothing so far is working, anyone else having this issue? This is just before a birthday party i'm hosting so i'm up **** creek now for arriving guests trying to get a hold of me

Are you somewhere that you can plug it back and try resetting while plugged in? Actually plug it in and wait a few minutes then try resetting again.

Have you contacted Apple? It seems like something in the hardware decided to quit.
this was the timeline chain of events, I left my car key inside the car because i have A virtual key on my iphone so most of the time i leave it inside, i was at the grocery store checking out when the iphone just goes black when i remember it being at 90%, with that said i was locked out my car, luckily my boyfriend had access to the app on his phone at the house and managed to unlock the car and let me drive back home but when i got home i gave him the iphone to see if he can restart it but he tried the suggestions about trying to use itunes to enable DFU mode but nothing, left it on charger for hours and nothing, I made an appointment with apple genius tomorrow but when I hold the iphones.

you can see my iphone work as a personal hotspot but it gives me an error when i select, flicking the mute button doesn’t vibrate when i flick it, but if i hold all the buttons i feel it vibrate!!

With applecare + I’m sure they’ll swap it out but I just thought it was odd soft reset or hard reset or trying DFU would work but no luck.
