When I am in certain applications, mainly shopping apps, I sometimes get these white horizontal lines appearing whilst scrolling up and down. I have attached a video of the issue. I have taken it to Apple and they completely replaced the screen but I am still getting this issue. Has anyone else had this problem?

in that video it seems a bit "stutter" choppy, but no white lines I can see, what did apple say?

Thanks for the responses, for some reason on the version of the video I uploaded they aren’t that visible. But I’m my camera roll they appear clearly, I showed the same video to 2 Apple employees and they both concluded it would be a display backlight issue, after changing the display it’s still there. Maybe a software issue? I know iOS 16 has had quite a buggy launch.

It's an oled screen not a lcd, there is no backlight. Each individual pixil operates independently... As I stated if it's only happening on specific 3rd party apps it's an app issue not hardware.. Contact the developer of the apps effected

I came here to say I have this same problem on my 14 pro max when scrolling on Tweetbot and Amazon especially. I’ve noticed anything that interweaves- like this sweater or the sonos speakers I first saw it on is the main thing that throws this off. It’s tons on horizontal white lines. Super annoying on a $1700 phone lol. It’s not visible on my wife’s 13 pro max.

Dont have apple store in my country.
Did take it too servis and they said cant be phone thing because it would happen all the time all all along , but it happens only on amazon so they think its app related.
Also , have you tryed using amazon via safari?
When I do that also no lines

Yes. I tried Amazon via safari and no lines. On the app it happens only in a few pictures, not in all the post. Is weird.

So we came to conclusion , if its the phone it self , lines would apear everywhere , but since no lines are there just on some apps , or better just on amazon , i guess it has something to do with amazon.
Now strange thing , i have those lines on pro max 16 , and my wife doesn have them on 15 pro max.....
So yeah , sick

I hope is not the display. And yes I don’t have this issue on another apps or safari. I still have my 14PM and I don’t have this issue on the Amazon app. So I’m confused but someone in here said that Apple changed the display and on with the new display it still happened. I guess at some point I will take it to an Apple Store but I hate wasting my time just for them to tell me is the Amazon app issue. I don’t know if your phone is covered by Apple by you can call them and they can run diagnostics over the phone

Take it to apple store , let them run whatever you want but that is not phone issue

I know, that’s why I said if I have time to do it because I hate wasting my time at the Apple Store. Is your phone up to date with the latest update?

Send me that link , so that I can see please
He replied:
“Yes, I visited the Apple Store and informed the technician about the issue. He suggested that it could be a problem with certain apps not updating their user interfaces . Even if they replaced the screen, it would still show up. So, I stopped bothering with it. However, it still appears in the Macys or Amazon app at specific shirts or bags with a white and gray background. I’ve stopped bothering with it, but they haven’t fixed the issue yet.”
