Any app that displays logged in devices is seeing my iPhone 14 Pro as “iPhone” and not its real name as seen in Settings > General > About.

The device is named “[My name’s] iPhone” in Settings, but in a number of apps it’s showing as this…

I’ve tried naming it other names, numerous reboots and yesterday even wiped my iPhone clean and started from scratch. I thought it was perhaps a bug from restoring an iCloud Backup from my old iPhone 13. But I’m still having this issue.

My iPhone 13 displayed the correct name on these apps. It’s literally every single app I have that shows logged in devices, not just one or two.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Same here. It seems some apps have started showing the actual device name while others still say "iPhone"

An update on this, I don't think it's limited to just the new iPhone 14 Pro but rather a iOS 16 bug as I'm also having it on an M1 iPad running a fresh install of iPadOS 16.1. Previously this iPad on iPadOS 15 was displaying the correct device names on apps.

My cousin's iPhone 14 Pro Max shows the proper device name.
