Any rumors if iPhone 15 (non pro models) will have 60HZ or more. High time they should have get out from 60HZ . For a 900$ phone in 2023 60hz is not acceptable. Always on display/ less premium look/ extra lens are fine for non pro but they should increase at least to 90HZ

Nope, not going to happen. The question is not about a $900 phone having 60Hz, the point Apple want you to know is for you to spend $1000 to get the proper flagship iPhone.

Pretty unlikely, they need to have enough features to upsell you to the Pro, and that one is still one of the big differentiators. Apple has as yet to bring Pro Motion to any non Pro device, but who knows, maybe they would eventually upgrade to 90Hz on the non Pros and give it a silly marketing name like Motion Plus, Liquid Motion or Super Retina Motion.

LiquidMotion actually doesn’t sound too bad.

Semi-Pro Motion could happen but consumers don't really want it so it's an unnecessary extra cost for Apple.
lol. Semi-Pro is bad branding, as it already indicates that it's "less/worse" than the existing Pro.
I don't think consumers "don't really want it." If Apple did put high refresh rate on regular iPhone, consumers will just accept it. It's more of a cost and segmenting the product lines for Apple, and Apple has decided high refresh rate to be a "Pro" feature from way back when Pro-Motion was introduced on the iPad Pro.

I used Semi-Pro purposely to emphasise the pointlessness of 90hz. With Apple apparently working on an even higher price point iPhone Ultra, the Pros will need to retain much of what it already has in terms of segmentation from the regular budget iPhones.

It’s already getting the island, which is what most people care about. No chance of 120Hz.
