Now that iPhone 15 PM has been out a couple of weeks is there a conclusion on the battery life? Is it better or worse than iPhone 14 PM or 13 PM?

I'd love to hear as well, but I think the reviews are pretty conclusive. And most users aren't going to have a fresh out of box (new battery) 14 Pro to compare with.

Our 15 PM has 10day average of 10h 42 mins and can go up to 11h 35m from 100 to 0.
But that is my wife playing games all day so might be skewed downwards. On 14 PM, it was around the same - 9-9.5h with AOD on, and 11-12h with AOD off.
On 13PM, she had average of 13-13.5h.

It feels about the same as my 13 Pro Max when it was new, but when you start using the Camera that’s when it becomes a battery guzzler.

I also have AOD On along with Background App Refresh, overall very satisfied. :)

On average now after 20 days my impressions are that my 15 PM is getting similar battery numbers to my 14 PM with same use. I have AOD on, many apps not with background refresh. On another site I am discussing this with many are like me at 4-10 hours use and 60 ish percent of battery left. But for a smaller number they have same usage and are getting down in to the under 20 percent in 10-12 hours. One person made major changes (he is out of cell a lot) so that is off during those times, AOD is off and no background and other settings he had to change from what he had set on his 13 PM.

At end of day (12 of the 24 hours) with average of 4 hours screen on I am at 60-65 percent (occasionally 70 percent) left. Thats close to my 14 PM although I think if memory is correct I was more in 72-mid 60 percent at days end rather than 65-60 percent so there might be a slight decline on how same settings (I copy from backup) effect battery use on the 15 PM. Some other friends with same settings are getting horrendous drain that they did not see on 14 PM. It is a minority in group I am in but it happens to them.

So maybe i said all that to say maybe about same perhaps a light drop in keeping same charge in typical day

I'm coming from an batter'ed iPhone 12, so this thing seems like a beast to me. If I have a normal day of usage, I have plenty of battery at the end of the day.

If I'm doing intensive tasks, I'm sure it will drain it.

So with a new processor using. 3nm
Process with slightly larger battery how can it not have better battery life?

I was never really happy with battery life on the 13 so question is will 15 give me better battery life?

My 15 PM is faster and smoother than my 14 PM and I would say the battery use is about equal. The 15 pm might have a slight edge but then it has a new battery.

Make sure to enable wifi calling to improve phone call quality and battery: my apt has 1-2 bars so it would drain battery seeking tower cell otherwise.

Anecdotal here, but it's for sure way better than my 14 PM was at launch. From what I heard, the 14 PM got a bit better after software updates, but I am for sure much happier with it now.

Mine is very similar to the 13PM. Definitely a workhorse versus the 14 pro max. Managed to do 6h SOT while taking hundreds of photos and videos in a sunny environment. Auto brightness had the screen at max and my signal was meh. That’d be impossible on older phones for me

My conclusion after a 2 week vacation where I took literally 100 pictures every day in sunny environment: I get to the evening with about 10-20% remaining on my 15PM. It's still slightly worse than the 14PM was, and definitely worse than the 13PM. But it's alright, I'd say.

I saw on a YouTube video that said a trick to improve battery life on the 15 Pro / Pro Max is to go to Cellular and enable 5G On instead of 5G Auto.

Has anyone heard or tried this before?

If you have extremely good 5G coverage, sure. If you have okay to good coverage then I would stick with auto so it can anchor or fall back to LTE when needed to save battery life. I don't even think 5G SA is on by default.
