Hello! I was just wondering. How strong is the iPhone 15 Pro Max Ceramic Shield Screen? What is the structural integrity of the screen? I’m just worried about pressing too hard on the screen.

Is able to withstand any pressure whatsoever not experiencing any damage at all?
Definitely not any pressure, if you drop an un-cased 15 Pro from height onto a concrete floor there’s definitely still a possibility that it will crack or shatter. The Ceramic Shield glass is, however, a bit more resistant to surface scratching than the older Gorilla Glass displays.

I have a 14 Pro, but it has Ceramic Shield as well and I accidentally launched it off my raised deck on Monday (I’m recovering from rotator cuff surgery and my dominant arm is in a sling for weeks, and I’m not as coordinated with my non dominant arm apparently lol). No case, no screen protector. It landed on our driveway, bounced and then slid about 6 feet.

It had gouges out of the stainless steel band, the screen didn’t break, not even a small crack, and only sustained some scratches that you couldn’t even see when the screen was on. Unfortunately the back glass shattered in the bottom corner, but only in the corner.

Needless to say I was impressed. Luckily AppleCare overnighted an express replacement and I now have a screen protector for the next few months until I’m recovered with full range of motion. But that phone should have been shattered because it flew up in an arc and out a good 3 feet from the deck, and the deck is raised 4 feet from the driveway so it flew with velocity from a height.

The screen only requires touch. You do not have to press hard on it.
