I live in NJ. I am going on vacations to Pakistan early November. My brother-in-law there, wants me to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max from US and bring it for his use. Just want to confirm that:

1. I should buy an unlocked phone from the Apple store.
2. There would be no SIM issue. The new iPhone uses an eSIM which can be used there with any of their carriers (UPhone, Jazz, Zong etc.).

Let me know if I have missed anything.

Thanks

I recommend you find out what 4G/5G bands they use in Pakistan and which model of iPhone 15 PM is sold there as the one sold in the USA is the A2849.

If NO esim issue there so as long as it is unlocked you are good to go.

Only worry would be the eSim issue. Have they investigated if their carrier supports eSim?
