Anyone can compare the difference between the USA and German versions of iphones? I'm switching back to iphone this year from android and looking at the 15 pro max. I'm a usa citizen but living in Germany until 2026 for work. I go back to the states once in a while mostly for work related stuff for about a week or so and then back to Germany. I know the EU iphones have sim cars in it. I have Telekom right now which has been good so far. I have Google Fi to keep my usa number.

I read online the apple warranty in Germany is default two years whereas USA is one year. But I'm still looking into applecare probably from Germany. I work on a military base and have access to APO box but I'm afraid the warranty and applecare for USA phones don't apply here in Europe.

Also it'll be a pain to have to mail out a broken phone to apple in USA and wait a few weeks to have to ship it to SHIPITAPO to my apo box.

I plan on buying the phone outright without any contract from places like Saturn in Germany.

Questions:
- That being said, if I bring this phone to usa with my Google Fi plan, will it work on the 5G network in the usa and also in Europe?
- does the USA iphone warranty and applecare apply in Europe?
