iPhone 15 Pro - iOS 17.1.1

Twice in the last couple of days I looked at my screen during the day and noticed Night Shift enabled. Despite having it scheduled to come on from Sunset to Sunrise it's just coming on in the middle of the day all by itself. Happened around 11 AM today while I was on a call. Happened yesterday afternoon while my phone was sitting on my desk. Location Services is enabled and working as far as everything else is concerned.

I go into settings and discover that the "Manually Enable Until Tomorrow" toggle was ON so then I have to turn it back OFF.

I upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 17.1.1) and this issue had never happened on that phone. Is there something that could be triggering or over-riding the scheduled sunset/sunrise?

I found this Apple thread, but no answers.

Check if the correct time zone is set in Settings -> General -> Date & Time.
It’s also possible that Night Shift could be enabled with an automation in the Shortcuts app.

Thank you for responding. Time was/is already set to “automatic” and time zone was/is still correct. I also have no shortcuts.

I toggled Night Shift to OFF then rebooted the phone and turned it back ON. It made it so far without the problem happening again.
