With the new A17 Pro chips and gaming functionality coming to iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, I'm interested: Is it possible that Microsoft and Sony roll out access to GamePass and PS Plus titles on iPhone and Mac? I'm looking forward to titles like Starfield and Fallout 4 from Bethesda in particular.

Anything is possible, but I suspect there are some formidable barriers. Financial (is it Microsoft or Sony's interest to allow Apple to take 30% of their revenue stream?), technical (porting titles is easier than it was, but still far from trivial), and legal (I imagine that arrangements with the publishers that supply the games for these catalogues are complex and likely would need to be renegotiated to add a new platform).

I think it's more likely that in the medium term, Apple would like to create a new premium tier to Apple Arcade, which can include console type games like Resident Evil 4 or Death Stranding.

Parts of GamePass have been available for a little while now, but in beta, streamed through the cloud. I have it installed on my 14 Pro, but honestly never really use it (I find the screen too small).

It's not really an official App Store app, but when you go this site, you can save an app from Safari to your home screen: https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/play.

It saves on my home screen as "Cloud Gaming".

Starfield, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto 5, Fallout 4 -- all there.

Like Crouch has said, you can access Game Pass Cloud gaming on most devices with a screen, iPhone, iPad etc, but you wont be able to use Game Pass natively like you can on an Xbox or Windows PC, as in download the game to your device and play it 'live' with no input lag. Starfield in particular is a Microsoft exclusive, and if want to play that just get an X box Series S for £200 and play it properly like it deserves to be played (ive played 65 hours or so already and hardly dented the size and scope of this game, just amazing it is).
