Just found these nice colored leather cases from Casebelle: https://casebelle.co/products/iphone-16-pro-max-case-timeless-luxe-desert-beige

Does anyone have experience with this brand/cases?
I like this one.

Shame they do metal camera ring.

It looks like they’re charging an extra $20 for the Camera Control button.
With the Lumen they are probably allowed to use the Apple approved version but have to pay a licensing fee.

Also the price increase keeps them from needing to upgrade those that paid less for the cutout.

Just got the OtterBox Lumen in green to replace my Torras 360 and immediately it feels so much better and safer in hands!

The Torras just felt slippery and I was scared it was going to slide out of my pocket or hand. The Lumen overcomes this by having a silicone/gel type feel to the sides, whilst still being smooth - weird! The back is also similar - it’s obviously clear plastic, but it’s gripping onto my fingers rather than slipping.

Also because of the more ‘rubbery’ feel to the sides, it feels like the phone is better protected from impact.

Also, goes nice with the white :)

I’ve already done that. As such I don’t accidentally launch the camera. But I do still accidentally hit the button.
Does the Apple silicone case make the CC button easier to press than the naked phone? I can pick up my naked pro max with one of my fingers over the CC button and not press it. I have to actively try to press it to launch the camera.

It does a little. I think because the non-button sides are flexible, so a squeeze with a large portion of your finger or hand will trigger the button with the case on, but in the bare phone, the area around the button is rigid, so you have to deliberately press on the button itself.

For instance, if my phone is on a table, and I reach for it to pick it up with my left hand, my left thumb will often be directly over the camera button when I grab the phone to lift. With the silicone case on, it clicks about 75% of the time if I reach for it in that manner. It does not click if the phone is bare.

Stealth carry today…Benks Armor Pro with a blacked out Benchmade Bugout.

No it’s about the same. Pressing the button accidentally is the craziest thing I’ve heard. Stop squeezing your phones so tightly. Be gentle.
By the way, the screen has to be on for a single press to launch the camera. If the screen is black, a click of the button wakes the screen. Picking the phone up does not wake the screen fast enough for the press of the button to open the camera. You would have to press the button a good 2 seconds after ever touching the phone for it to trigger.

All right case experts. With the Woot deal on the Apple Silicone cases, what is the preferred option? Apple Silicone or Spigen Ultra Hybrid T Magfit?
