Anyone else having lens flare issues on their 16 Pro Max?

I’m getting those green light spots when lights are in the photo both on the fusion camera and the telephoto lens.

Any thoughts? I do have a camera protector square over it, although it’s not covering tbr camera

I do not, but I also have never used a camera protector, so not sure if that could be causing it for you.

I’ve had this problem since the X.
Every year for a long time, I filmed a birthday cake with candles being brought into a dimly lit room, and the first time I did it with the iPhone X there were very prominent green ‘ghost candles’ generated through reflections in the lens assembly - these have been there ever since.
Apparently the 16 series has a new anti reflective coating, but from what I’ve seen on YouTube it hasn’t changed much.

My wife says it’s normal too, but I’d swear my last iPhone didn’t do it. Or maybe I’m just more aware right now because I’m playing with the new camera 😂

It become really noticeable when they moved to the 48MP sensor on the pro's, so it depends what phone you are coming from. If its one with a 12MP primary camera, it was often better in this regard
