Any extra discount codes?

Im going in for Ghost 2.0 👻

Ghost offer no lip protection with screen protector installed?
i have one for the air and it does provide screen protection even with a screen protector. it is slight but does have a lip. placing phone face down is protected. maybe a hard fall will be different. 🤔

I'm going to need about 10 of these to get one on perfect o_O

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention about the Synthesis Frosted, and something that's a nice touch, is how they put that black rim at the top of the camera surround. It really helps make it stand out when you look at it straight on when it's on one of the lighter colors.

Love the look of the Sheath precise this year. Wanted to pick one up since they seemingly have their stuff figured out now, but not in love with the price and the overall weight compared to my Apple techwoven.
Didn’t like the weight of the Sheath compared to the Apple Silicone. The Sheath weighs 14g more. However I’ve gotten used to the weight and don’t even think about it. It’s also way more protective.

As far as price is comparable to Apple. You can get discount codes I think.

Mous Limitless Walnut for the Air. I’m loving the Mous this year—everything about it is improved over the past few versions.

Everyone always asks, and the answer is yes, it’s real walnut. Classic Woody vibes. 😎

All these reviewers on YouTube attaching random MagSafe accessories to cases and shaking to “test strength “… can someone get them a fish scale or something maybe so they can at least see how many pounds of force they get before phone careens off into oblivion with such a useless method of testing MagSafe strength lol.

Grinds my gears.

I’m with you. There’s too little actual testing going on, just vague opinions for the most part. MobileReviewsEh is the only one I know of that is using any controlled, repeatable methods.

China X-One plateau protector too thick to work with precise cases :(

Just put the Sheath back on and the cameras are noticeably deeper in the case and some of the orange edges of the phone are showing along the top edge and top sides of the front :(

If you want to use precise cases, forgot about this one.

Peeling this crap off and running naked again

Wow, sure doesn’t look like that film is that thick. Definitely a difference. Still doesn’t look as bad as DBRAND tank cut outs though lol.

With all due respect, the average viewer isn’t going to know how in the world so many newton pounds or whatever the measurement feels. That’s why I personally use items that someone everyday would use. A bunch of numbers means absolutely squat imo because you have to think the majority of people watching case reviews are the regular average person who MAY be using a MagSafe wallet.

I actually have one of those tools that displays how much force it takes to remove an accessory and I tried it and you have to have proper setup to even have a consistent reading, it’s too sensitive and inconsistent. The number of people who truly care about that is super case enthusiasts “maybe” and people on this forums like ourselves is such a minuscule number on the grand scheme.

That’s very true… I wouldn’t even know what to do with those metrics to be honest. More useful for me to see how easy it detaches from a charger or accessory with regular everyday type of movement.

Agreed. How many newtons of forces doesn’t mean anything to me. Instead, how easily a wallet or charger comes off is much more useful

Nobody can do anything with numbers unless you’re a physics nerd or something and nothing against anyone that may be that, more power to you. It’s a difference between everyday reviews and scientific with a bunch of numbers that doesn’t mean much.

I understand your prospective.

Shaking around a phone in a case on an arbitrary MagSafe pop socket until it falls doesn’t particularly tell me anything useful either, though.

Adding: maybe newtons or force wouldn’t mean anything to anyone, but us, but knowing XXX case was XX and XX case was XXXX would be helpful. Better VS worse.

Adding 2: kind of like weight; we just compare that amongst the others for same principle. Better VS worse; lighter VS heavier.

Nice looking slab of Walnut on that one.

Thought you were only getting a couple cases this year?
Yeah, got lucky with the wood grain this time.

My plan was to end up with no more than 4-5 (I think I stated that somewhere in this thread). I’m looking at a stack of 6 in front of me, but one of them is likely going back, so I’m pretty much on target (it’s been a revolving door of incoming cases and outgoing returns for a while now). 😊
