Yeah I think I am going to return my Ghost case once the Paragon arrives next month. I like the Ghost but my OCD doesn’t like the dust getting under the clear back, the buttons being too sensitive, and the CC button is loose.

Do you think the back of the Paragon feels similar to the Ghost as far as slickness?
@KentuckyHouse might be able to answer since he has the Ghost and Paragon.

How does that work when it comes to shipping and shipping charges ?

For instance here in the US for the Pro it’s 2 day Prime shipping , $49.99.
It was free shipping with Prime from Amazon US, for 53,17€ ($61,58). So no worries about any additional costs. My PR Air took 6 days to arrive the same way.

Ordering from PR directly would cost me an arm and a leg. Even with the Black Friday promo I would have paid 52€ with USPS International 7-21 Business days shipping (71€ with UPS 3-4 day shipping) and that does not even include import duties and taxes.

Ok great that you get Prime shipping.

Looking at the Mous Limited looks thinner this year. Anyone confirm this?
Mous Limitless Speckled Fabric on the 15PM vs the 17 Pro. Can not confirm 😅

Moonstone looks clean but I’m kinda worried if it will stain. I read a Reddit thread claiming it left a MagSafe stain on the Ember version. Anyone else experience this:

I had the Moonstone Paragon last year for my 15 pro. It did end up with a MagSafe stain. I use a white Belkin 3 in 1 MagSafe charging stand and various other cases, including leather which may transfer dye. I think that’s the main reason mine got stained.

Mous claims that by removing the TPE (AiroShock) along the sides they were able to reduce the thickness of the sides by ~25% without significantly affecting protection. You can see it in your last photo, where the side on the 15 model is sort of rounded, whereas the side on the 17 model is more flat. Here’s a note from the Mous rep:

Oh yeah, you're absolutely right! I didn't know this.
Though the round-ish sides make the 15PM version a bit nicer to hold, imho.

I bought this Ringke case a few weeks ago. It looks similar to the Paragon. What I really don't like about the Ringke case, though, is that it's a dust magnet. Both on the outside and on the inside around the camera.

Is it the same with the Paragon Case?

If the Ringke is silicone that could be the problem. The Paragon isn’t silicone and isn’t a dust magnet but since my Paragon is black attracts dust but not that bad.

These cases superficially look similar, but the materials and construction have little in common.

I like a case that aligns with the form of the iPhone especially the sides. The 17 Pro doesn’t exactly have round sides but rounded edges. If a case is boxy and too thick doesn’t feel good in the hand to me. The best “feeling “ case for me in the hand is hands down the Apple Silicone for dings and dangs protection followed by the Paragon for drop protection.

Agreed. I hope they’re able to tighten up their QC in the future. In fairness, this seems to be a problem for all of these ultra-thin aramid/Kevlar cases, regardless of brand (I’ve had a terrible time with both Benks and Latercase). I think because the material is so stiff, and the tolerances are so tight, it is difficult to deliver a consistent fit. They are amazing though, when you get a good copy.
Perfectly stated. I’ve had the same experience as you with benks and latercase as well. As soon as I received the Pitaka and noticed it was a perfect fit I haven’t bothered with another case, the aramid lottery is wild 😜 but so rewarding when it’s right.

First time posting here. Anyone get the Phone Rebel Gen7 with the Lens Protector? I have it and can't get the Lens Protector to attach. Think there is an issue with the plastic or the screws are too small. Was just wondering if I am the only one?

I took off the ring while lying flat, then just picked it up and slid the lens protector piece under, and they screwed right in.

I tried the same and the screws just won't grab the Lens Protector for some reason. Tried both sets. I can get the ring back on fine, so I know the screws work. The screws also go into the Lens protector without the plastic piece. Just can't figure out the issue.
