The Beats rugged has a closed bottom. The regular beats case does not.
According to MobileReviewEh‘s review of the Beats Rugged, the back is not thick enough to be rugged. I have not seen a drop test of the Gen 7 yet.
Ok I’ll have to watch that video again. So you’re looking for a bonafide rugged case.
Anyone have any real pictures of the PR Gen7 camera plateau deal from both sides?

I don't have pictures, but it is metal. It is attached by six tiny screws that are recessed. Nothing metal is hitting the phone or plateau.
Well I have the Beats Rugged, the Mous Limitless, the Grip and now the Gen 7. I think I’m covered when it comes to protective cases. 😅 And I think I have my rotation down now. Too many cases ordered again. But I’ll know better now for when the next phone rolls around (which will be the 19 for me most likely).
Yes sir. Let me see if I can get a picture. The metal camera ring is attached when it comes. If you got the plateau cover, you remove the six screws, lift the case, and put it on top of the metal plateau cover and secure the screws (at least that was the most straightforward method for me.
I wish Apple would make a TechWoven case without the woven back. It would be great to have the TechWoven edge texture all around on the sides and back.
Had the razor sharp ActionButton on my 17P Sheath. This is the only button I changed to the 2.5.Nice, I need to exchange mine, have a razor-sharp seam on the volume button side that only seems to get sharper
I will also say, with the case being so tight, and not way to easily push the phone forward, getting it out of the PR7 is REAL TOUGH! I may need to figure this out before my Tank comes.
I love mt PR7. It has the perfect feel without too feeling too bulky. Though as much as you change cases, I am sure it will be too much of a pain to try and get on and off.Think I'll just order the Tank
