This worked like a charm for me. Thanks for posting it! Asus support is a mess. The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing. I reached out to them and they sent me a PDF asking tons of questions and requesting logs so they could troubleshoot the issue. I even sent them the link to this conversation and it didn't seem to help.

100% same experience. Not sure what magic was used to get the beta firmware on this forum from them, but it works!

Funny thing is, it only took me one time. I sent the report via the Feedback Page in the router's Web interface, included the logs from the router and, we'll call him The ASUS Guy, got back with me within 24 hours with the statement:

"This is a compatibility issue with Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series.
Please try the following beta firmware and see if it resolves the problem. Thank you."

And a link. So, I just assumed it's all known about and a general release fixing it will be out pronto. I also assumed that anyone who did the same report would quickly get the same link to the fix. Apparently not.

I wonder if you had success because you used the router's web interface to post the issue. I used the Asus website. You would think they'd go to the same place since I logged the issue with my hardware serial number, but maybe the feedback on the router interface goes to a different queue?

Mind sharing the name of your ASUS Guy. Seems to be a good one versus all the others I’ve dealt with.

Something else I noticed with this Beta firmware, the router's memory usage seems to have been stabilized. Before the memory usage kept creeping up. It would start at around 44% and creep up to over 60% in the course of a month. With this firmware, it's been holding steady at 44% since I installed it.

Seems as though ASUS posted release firmware that addresses the Apple compatibility issues yesterday.

ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37012

I've reverted back to the release firmware on my routers.
I reverted mine as well. The main router and one mesh node reverted fine. My second mesh node refuses to connect to the router. It's just flashing blue. I suppose I'll have to do a factory reset on that second node.

I did Mike. The second node just flashes blue.

I've used ASUS routers for years. This has been very frustrating.

I loaded the main router firmware first and when it finished I loaded the mesh node firmware (I only have one node). When it finished loading it just blinked blue and would not reconnect with the main router. I think I rebooted the mesh node first and when it still would not reconnect I rebooted the main router and it reconnected.

I was prepared to remove the node (reset it to factory defaults) and re-add it but didn't have to.

Not sure what else to tell you. Yes, this whole ordeal has been rather frustrating. Made much worse by lack of information from ASUS.

Yet another firmware update available. This one showed up in the web interface I was able to install automatically via the normal firmware update (no manual uploading to individual nodes) and seems to have been a success without all the blue flashing light shenanigans.

This is what I'm running now: 3.0.0.6.102_37026-g93d2e44_1440-g262e7_BB0B

The router got updated with37026 but the modes stayed on 37012. 37026 is not available on the ASUS website yet so I can update the nodes manually.
