Hi,

I've been eyeing the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I plan to also use this as a replacement for my aging iPad Air (the 2nd gen) for bedtime audio when going to sleep (youtube videos, audiobooks).

I've seen some complaints about bad speaker quality for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, compared to previous models. Is this still a thing, or has it been corrected since release?

Thanks!

I don’t think it’s ever been a major issue. Not saying the odd phone hasn’t had a problem but I’ve never had any issues with mine.

Thanks, I'm seriously thinking of getting this phone.

How is it walking around with it, using a simple cover for the backside (and glass front)? Does it fit your pants' pockets well?

I tend to keep it in a jacket pocket so can’t really comment on that sorry.

My wife has the 17PM and its the best sounding phone speakers I have ever heard. If you can deal with the very large size and heavy weight it is a powerhouse of a phone.

The 17 ProMax speakers are quite good for a phone. Not sure if it sounds better than my M5 iPad Pro but it is darn good.
