The WiFi on my 17 Pro keeps dropping. I read that it’s a common issue before iOS 26.0.1 but mine still has it.

Anyone else on the same boat as I am ? I really don’t know what to do about this

Does the wifi indicator show no wifi or does it just stop streaming? I’ve been having the latter on my 17PM. Shows full signal but at times a streaming video just hangs. I go to cellular data and it picks right back up.

Same happened to me with my new 17 Pro when I purchased it.

I forgot the Wi-Fi network and reconnected again and everything has worked fine since.

What happens is that it disconnects from the network for a few seconds and then it reconnects back to it.

It’s the same as your case that when it does disconnect from the WiFi it connects to the data for a few seconds and then back to the WiFi.

Maybe your router keeps changing the channel and that's causing the temporary drop.

Do other devices on your home wifi have the same issue? If not, then ignore this advice 😁

Try re-setting Network Settings? (Settings/General/Transfer or Reset iPhone/Reset/Reset Network Settings)

Your iPhone will re-boot, and you will have to re-enter passwords for all previously known Wi-Fi networks.

I still have huge problems with WiFi, specifically on WiFi channels 108 and above. The phone has big problems finding the networks and then also disconnects after a while IF it is even able to find them.

You're a life saver my man @Cmd-Z . This actually worked. It seemed like such a dumb solution but I was like what the heck let's just give it a shot and it worked. I'm so surprised, I dont think anyone else on the internet knows that this is the solution. you truly are a pioneer. Much love.

The cellular signal range is still lower than my 13 Pro, quite disappointed in the 17 Pro.
