iPhone 2.0... Failure

Anyone having problems getting this installed? I have restored and tried to update it and both give me an unknown error and lock my phone up. Any tips or tricks? I am on a PC if that matters with it and using iTunes 7.7

yea ive had that problem too, been trying to get it to work for the past 3 hours and no luck.
given up and restored to 1.1.4

Run 7.7, restart (PC), install the 2.0, ready to go.

Does the restart work if your using a MAC vs. a PC as well? Im using a MAC Mini
