Not sure what caused this. I have a 16GB iPhone, NOT 3G. It is Jailbroken/Unlocked.

I am not even using it as a phone, more like an iPod Touch with a camera!

In any case, I went to sync the phone to the iTunes Libraray and all looked well. ITunes said it was copying files and the status bar indicated memory available decreased due to new files added.

Removed the iPhone to play the new materials and there is NOTHING THERE.

I stuck in a SIM Card the phone functions well.

ALSO - Photographs synced to the phone from iPhoto to the phone via iTunes are there.

The only thing affected is the iTunes Library Data.

I suspect that one of the SOFTWARE UPDATES to the computer may be the culprit but have no real clue.

Any help would be appreciated.

OS = 10.5.6
ITUNES = 8.1

I have another computer with OS 10.5.1 and ITUNES 7.7.6

Any help is appreciated!

THANKS :)

First you should update to 2.2.1 if you aren't already there, and see if it works now. If that doesn't fix the problem, you should try to restore/reunlock it, or you should put it on "manually manage music and videos" in itunes, and just drag over everything you want.

Thanks ... we got if fixed.

We moved the Restore file over to the older computer ( 10.5.1 / iTunes 7.7.x ). Performed the restore there and it works fine now. For some reason ( I suspect an update ) the restore did not repair on the newer machine ( 10.5.6 / iTunes 8.1 ).

I synced it to the library on the newer machine and all is well now.

Thanks again.
