I just downloaded the latest Iphone update to my MacBook. It took the old software off of my Iphone and never put the new software on it. Now the phone is stuck with a pic of a USB cable with an arrow pointing to an Itunes Icon. It keeps reseting to this. I have tried a hard reset and it just goes black and pops up the silver apple then immediately goes to the USB/Itunes Icon and keeps reseting.
My mac won't even recognize that I have it plugged in! I have used two different cables...any help would be greatly appreciated!:D

Open iTunes, plug in the iPhone, hold the sleep/wake button and the home button, wait until the screen shuts off, then let go of the sleep/wake button, remain holding the home button. That should fix it.

It didn't work...thanks anyway.

Well that did successfully shut the phone down...but when I turn it back on it is still showing the USB/Itunes Icon...aaaaaaaaa!!!!:)
