I have an unlocked jailbroken iphone 2G that I have never been able to upload the iphone software onto. I got some people to look at it, and they determined that there is probably a problem with the NAND or motherboard due to it being unplugged while attempting to load software at some point.

What is the most likely problem? Would it be worth trying to replace the parts?
