Iphone 2G Power Button not Working!!! Help!

I just recently bought a damaged iphone the seller said that the power button works some of the time... well it doesnt... nothing happens when i push the power button, its not jamed it looks normal and when you push it nothing... i cannot power on the phone or power off the phone how can i fix this? replace the back of the phone with the cables?


How can i repair this???

I found it at iFixit. I don't work for them either, I use the over companies like PDA parts. Or you could send the iPhone out to Apple or a 3rd party company.
