Okay, sorry for being a newb. I bought an iPhone 2G today, and it turns out it is a US model, (I live in the UK).

Anyway, I've managed to use Pwnagetool to unbrick the phone (It was locked to AT&T) but as far as iTunes goes, no dice. It IS 3.1.3 ipsw, but according to most threads, the 2G should be fine.

I'll connect it, but it reads as 'iTunes cannot read the files in the iPhone 'iPhone'. Please restore using...'

Anyway, any help to get this talking to iTunes? I've managed to jailbreak it as I've said, and it works fine on O2! Just without music, I'd rather go back to my Blackberry.

Any help would be great! Thanks!:)

Have you tried restoring like iTunes told you to? That would be the first step...
