Iphone 2G with 3.0.1 (using the 3.0 FW). Phone always hanging and In safe mode

Dear All,

I recently upgraded my 2G Iphone from 1.1.4 to 3.0.1 using the redsnow method on iclarified's website.

I added the xsellize repo on cydia and have been adding a bunch of programs (iblacklist, cycorder, bite sms etc...)

Now my phone always hangs and I am always asked to reset the springboard. My phone also goes into safe mode at times.

I have noticed that 3.0.1 was nowhere near as smooth as the old 1.1.4.

I have removed some programs that I thought were giving me problems.

Are all the apps that are available on cydia good for 3.0.1?

Shall I restore again with 3.0.1? or version 2?

3.0.1 also hangs for me too on my 2g. 2.2.1 was a lot smoother. However I love the updates to 3.0.1 I just wish it wasn't so slow.
