iphone 2g won't load to home page

I have a iphone 2g, it dose power on but all it dose is ask to connect itunes. i have took a picture, also my pc itune show up this message: "Itunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with iTune."

I have tried to restore but still not working, all it dose is turn on and stock in this mode.

than itunes told me to turn off the iphone and turn back on again.. i done it but still the samething

So after it finishes the restore it goes back into restore/recovery mode?
