Hey I have a white 3g 16gb iPhone that i have a problem with. It is stuck in the connect to itunes screen. What happened was I purchased the phone from a guy on craigslist wiped it clear of all of his contacts etc. and when I went to put my sim card in it said sim not supported or something. So I went to apple to get it swapped out and they told me that the phone was purchased outside of the country so they couldn't do anything on it. My question is can anyone help me get out of the screen so I am not out 315 bucks!!!
Thank you

ANYBODY?!?!? I really need help. Also, if this helps the phone was believed to be from overseas because they didn't "service" it at apples genius bar.

Sounds like a SIMLOCK problem. Have you restored the phone entirely? If not, put the phone into DFU mode (you can easily find that online) and then try to restore the phone that way.

if you restore it, make sure you use 2.2 firmware so that you are able to unlock it for your sim card. You will have to use some of the guides on the internet to make sure you do it right.

Are you using a sim card from another network than AT&T? Because that will give you the same message.
