and probs getting the phone today

i was ment to get phone in 2 weeks

Don't get so caught up in damaging your phone that it prevents you from fully enjoying it.

You'll be fine, as already stated. The iPhone isn't as susceptible to scratchs and stuff as the previously released iPods were.
