Iphone 3g 2.1: Jailbreaking, getting apps and adding snes emulator and roms?

I have read nad watch some videos, but always people are not to detailed or for example dont go simple straight to th epoint, some times dont o offer links where to get styff.

Si am asking for help from people here. Anyone or more than one can help me where to start and how to all this thing in order?

Running 2.1 on iphone 3g.

Although I understand your confusion and frustration regarding everything listed in your title I would suggest doing some research first. When I decided to Jailbreak my iPhone for the first time I did not come on Macrumors and say "I want to Jailbreak. How do I do it?" I actually, was able to do everything on my own with the exception of a few issues which, at that point, I asked for help here. Someone here keep saying "Google is your friend". I would totally agree. Google and search Macrumors for info. You asked "where do I start and how do I do all this...in order". That is WAY more info than I think any of us want to address in one post as everything you want to accomplish is outlined here in detail. You just need to invest a little time and research.

With that said...here is the quick breakdown of what you want:

Download QuickPwn and follow directions to Jailbreak.
Get on Cydia and download emulators
Go on Goolge to find Roms
SSH into iPhone to place Roms in correct folders

rotobadger is absolutely right. And as far as I know you have to be a zodttd beta tester to get the snes emulator.... Officially, at least.

To become a beta tester you can donate to Zod. That is how I got my SNES emulator and, frankly, it is well worth the $20 I donated. He is doing some amazing things for the iPhone for essentially no pay. I think it is a good idea to support folks like Zod...especially if we're benefitting from his hard work.

Ok, i understand you and already know the steps what i dont know are the details for example in what you outlined.'

-the latest pwn is 2.5 if am not wrong, it works well on iphone 3g with 2.1 firmware?

-Cydia, where? wher ei get a snes emulator for 2.1?

-It can be any rom on google like the one used on znes or what?

-Wher ei get ssh i have seen videos but i dont see the use or where i get it?

I also have an iphone 3g 2.1 firmware...i have jailbroken it and done pretty much most of the thing like getting ROMs, etc. Unfortunately, i do not know how to get the app called "Ants" on my phone. Would any1 no how to do this....i would guess using SSH and cyberduck but how :O
