iPhone 3G, 2.2 yellowsn0w - How do I use a T-Mobile data plan?

Given the specs up above, how do I use a T-Mobile dataplan with the iPhone? I'm currently subscribed to the $34.99 unlimited data + messaging plan for Blackberry. Any help?

Go to your APN and put epc.tmobile.com

No password or username, leave them blank.

I thought tmobile used a different frequency so you can't get data on 3g?
