iphone 3g 3.0 unlock, no service

I'm going to go crazy, someone please help. I have both a pc and a mac.. I have downloaded redsn0w and got all the way to the end and I get a error message install not complete this is on mac. so now I'm stuck with a locked 3g iphone, I used pawnage before not yellowsn0w and I updated 3.0 with itunes, I have looked all over the web and it seems I'm the only one in the whole world with this problem. someone please help me.Okay the message says "THE APPLICATION PWNAGE TOOL QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY AFTER IT WAS RELAUNCED." mac os and other applications ar not affected. okay so I tryed on my pc which completed and its now jailbroken but not unlocked, will someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so you know 3.0 can not be unlocked with yellowsn0w. You are going to have to wait until ultrasn0w is out to do the unlock.

I unlocked after upgrading to 3.0 using redsnow on my pc, went like a dream.
