iPhone 3G 3.1.2 Battery Indicator Stays Full??

Hello,
My battery indicator stays full until the phone just dies. It's like it doesn't recognize that the battery is going down?? Any ideas?
 
This question was posted yesterday. My 3g did the same a few times. A full restore solved the issue.
