So the other day my kitten decided to knock my iphone off the counter onto my ceramic tile floor. I always have a case on my phone, by my boyfriend had "borrowed" it for the day. The crack is small and by the home button. It does not interfere with the touch part at all and I have a screen protector over it now. I think I am just going to live with it, but my question is, what happens if something else goes wrong with my phone that is Apple's fault? If I find a viable reason to have it replaced, will they? I am still under 1 yr warranty until September.

Thanks.

PS Kitty!

You never know.
It all depends on the employee at the Apple Store, well if the Apple Store is where you decide to go for help.
I would just recommend taking it in and seeing what they can do, you don't want to take the chance of the crack getting worse.
Today I had a wonderful experience there; my headphones were shocking me so they replaced them on the spot.

Apple replaced my phone which had a very big hairline crack on the screen, but they only replaced it due to the fact it also had: light leek, damaged battery, 1 dead pixel in the middle of the screen.

Yeah, it really depends on the store and employee. Last August, I'd say, my iPhone headphones started buzzing on low frequency tones, so I went to the Apple Store in Boston to have them replaced, because they weren't working. I ended up spending a half hour in the store convincing the person I wasn't lying, after he had taken them, put them in his ears, and refused to replace them. I ended up getting in touch with the general manager, however, and was given free stuff :D. Conversely, I went to the Apple Store in New Hampshire Friday night, and needed to have my phone replaced because of some issue that neither the Genius nor I have ever heard of, and he was more than willing to replace it for me.
