Ok, so here is the story, my iPhone 3G had some physical defects, I went to the Genius Bar, they replaced it for free. My current iPhone 3G also has some defects. Now my question is, if I where to go back to the Genius Bar after the 3G S⃣ release date, since the 16 GB 3G isn't for sale anymore, will I get a 3G S⃣ ?

They are still selling the 3G phones, as a way to offer $99 and $150 price points to consumers. So they will still replace it with your version, not a 3GS. I would assume this will be the case for a quite a long time.

You are very vague with your definition of defects. But no, you can't upgrade that way, you will get the same one.

No, they still replace 2G iPhones with 2G iPhones, so you're definitely not getting a 3GS.
