Hi,

I would like to have some opinions.

Today I dropped my iPhone, again, and the glass broke. It is still fully functional but I was curious how much it would cost me to get it fixed. I called up the local Apple store and they said they wouldn't repair it, but they could sell me another 16G version for £199.

What do you guys think I should do? Keep using it, buy a new one or go to some other place to get it fixed (wouldn't know where to go).

Any input is highly appreciated.

Cheers!

try that google search, but no, I dont have any experience in the UK -- never been!

It might have been a good idea to have searched for repair options in the first place. But it doesn't change my need for some input.

Thanks.

well.... like I said, if you can afford to get it fixed, then fix it. if not, then I would suck it up and try and use it until it dies.

OR

you could sell it on eBay and probably make enough (or close to it) to just buy a new one.

I'm afraid it's severely damaged. I doubt I could get "good" money for it on ebay.

EDIT: I might just use it until the glass starts cutting into my thumb or it goes to iPhone heaven.

Would be great if someone could share their experiences with UK based iPhone repair services.
