Iphone 3G/Iphone 3Gs/Ipod Touch 16Gb

Hello guys,

How you doing today? I got a couple questions come up in mind that need some suggestion/advice.

I plan to have a either Iphone/itouch related device. My choice are in the following:

1. Buy a used Iphone 3G 8gb for $250(I guess??) or what reasonable price it should be?

2. Buy a iphone 3Gs 16GB, sign up the plan, pay the monthly bill.

3. Buy an Ipod touch 16GB for $270 along with another $20 for cheap phone.

From my perspective, 2nd choice is pricey compare to others. The problem is, new Iphone is coming soon around May. Is this worth to buy it now? What about option 1 or 3? I actually don't know much about the different between 3g and 3gs beside the faster processor.

I am confuse and hope to see you guys reply with comment. Thanks in advance.

If I were you I'd just wait until the summer and sign up for a new plan when the new iPhone comes out. Pick up an iPod touch for the time being to hold you over and then sell it when you get the iPhone.

You need to decide what you want, first. Do you want a convergence device that will be both a phone and a music player? Do you want cellular data? How important is the latest and greatest to you? How much are you willing to pay for an iPhone? Etc.

I know what my answers to those questions are, and they are what informed my purchase decision. What are yours?

Thanks for reply. Actually I want something like ipod touch and able to make a call. I don't might picking up a ipod touch along with a cheap phone so I can make a call and enjoy the music player too. Of course, the greatest the better for me but due to financial, I only plan to go as reasonable as possible.

thanks for reply, It sounds right too, since fourth generation iphone is coming up, why waste the money to buy a 3gs right? For the time being, there are few options available now such as iphone 3g 8gb used around $250, ipod touch 16gb for $150 etc.

What you describe is an iPhone. If you don't feel you can afford a new iPhone, you could pick up a used 3G on eBay fairly cheaply, unlock it, and use it on T-Mobile.

Of course is used but in good condition. I like this because no need to stick with plan
