iPhone 3g - Jailbreaking Question (At&t)

hey guys,
i have an iphone 3g running firmware 2.2 with the latest baseband. is it possible to jailbreak the phone but still have it work with At&t?
if so, could anyone please be kind enough to provide me some step by step instructions?
i have access to both a vista machine and a macbook (last years model - no dfu issues ) so i could use pwnagetools or quickpwn.

The jailbreaking won't interfere with any normal functions. I bet if you do a simple google search there is a TON of tutorials on how to jailbreak.

First of all. Jailbreaking has nothing to do with the Baseband. That is unlocking. So yes once you Jailbreak it will still work with AT&T.

Second of all.....read the stickes at the top of the forum!!!!!! There are step by step instructions up there.

Third of all....please search the forums! Try using MRoogle.

thanks guys, only reason why i stated my baseband version was becasue i plan to later run yellowsn0w to fully unlock my phone. after running yellowsn0w, will my phone still work with at&t?

Yes yellowsn0w will allow the iphone to work with any sim card (including legitimate ones). Quickpwn is so easy it doesn't really need instructions
