Hi - I searched for this issue in the forums but couldn't find anyone else who'd asked the same question. I hope someone can help.

My iPhone will no longer find my current location in maps. It worked previously (though sporadically), and I've had the little throbbing blue dot, but now it won't work at all. it won't even locate me using phone mast triangulation, let alone with GPS.

I am in central London, so plenty of phone masts around, and have tried this outside so no issues of line of sight to satellites.

Is this a bug or is my phone broken?

Thanks.

hi

I'm on a training course this week, and have noticed that in guilt up areas in London the GPS really sucks, keeps losing it, taking ages to find it again. Probably something to do with al the tall office buildings blocking the satellites, as it works fine in my town (west country - nothing but trees!)
