iPhone iPhone 3G locked, won't enter DFU or Recovery

Hi,

I recently found my old iPhone 3G but can't remember the password. I've tried everything to get it to enter DFU to restore it to factory settings but it won't work. The power/sleep and home buttons seem to be working just fine though.

Can anyone help?

Try putting it into recovery mode using Tiny Umbrella.

It doesn't matter. At the top there are three buttons - Enter Recovery, Fix recovery, and exit recovery. Just hit the enter recovery one.
