I tried separately covering the left and right speakers on the bottom edge of the iPhone 3G and the music is barely audible through the right speaker when the left speaker is covered. I just wanted to make sure that this ain't normal right? If it isn't Im going to Apple

I'm assuming you are kidding. But if not, it's completely normal. There is only ONE speaker on any iPhone. The other one is a microphone.

Ironically, I thought the same thing when I got my iPhone 3G when it came out. Hahahaha! It's ok, bro. Welcome to iPhone! :D
