iphone 3g ringtone help

i have searchd all the threads for this but cant find a solution. i am trying to get ringtones on my 3g with itunes 7.7 it shows up in my ringtones in itunes both on the left side and when i plug in my iphone under ringtones. sync all ringtones is on but they dont show up on my phone under custom ringtones. can someone please help.

i had some similar problems with contacts and contact groups, I cannot tell you why this is happening. try doing a restore.

Have you tried restoring your iPhone and syncing? I sometimes have this problem, where ringtones I've made don't sync. I found that by reducing their length to < 1 min and reconverting them to AAC helps.

ill try to restore it but it does load the ringtones that i got on the itunes store tho

Use garageband to make ringtones, it's very easy to do just google it.

BTW the ringtones are technically supposed to be less than 40 seconds too. Length could be the problem here.
