Hey guys, my phone had a rough drop the other day the screen broke and the lcd is forked :(

I did not contact apple, but I went to this page

http://www.apple.com/au/support/iphone/service/exchange/

and basically I will not be able to fix it under warranty, so it will cost me the same as buying a new phone plus fixing charges (?) not sure.

I looked through ebay and some websites looking for a glass (with the metal bracing) and an lcd. but so far all the ones that I found didn't include the button or they didnt come with the metal bracing to fit the screen to the iphone (which makes things impossible to fit in anyway cause its all stuck together and unless ur a professional you wont be able to fit it)

can anyone recommend a place that offers a complete replacement LCD + Glass with metal bracing + Button

or am I doomed to just get another one?

You are doomed, at least for now. I found some sites listing the parts you need, but they aren't selling them...yet. I would recommend you buy a cheap phone and pop your SIM in that for a month or so. If they don't get the parts in that time frame, then they may never and you should get a new permanent phone

I am actually using my old iPhone (gen 1) .. but I still want to fix this anyway. Can you give me the sites that have parts but out of stock?

thanks quincy .. it seems i have to wait till they get back in stock :/
