Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Fido owned by Rogers? Meaning, their sims should work, too.

It does not work with the French Orange sim. I tried to phone and e-mail SteahtSIM for support, but theu do nopt answer. I think it simply does not work with the iPhone 3G 2.1
