Hey everyone, I need help with an older iPhone of mine and no forum thread seemed to fix my issue:

So basically, when charging my iPhone 3G, it literally just shows the battery charging screen.
It doesn't turn off. It doesn't change. It doesn't go to the apple logo either.
It is responsive, because when I pull the plug for 1 second, it shows the animation for an empty battery then just fades to black.
I've left it in charge for 25 hours non stop at this point, and I've left it in charge for numerous hours on multiple different days.
Despite this it still doesn't turn on...

It is jailbroken, but it was working some years ago and I havent done anything with cydia or anything else for that to change.

Some things I tried:
Changing charging ports/bricks etc
Cleaning it kind of
Reset methods (Home button and sleep/wake button)
Applying heat to it (Heard it works)

It still doesn't turn on. I don't need it to run every day with full battery, I just need it to turn on. Any recommendations please?
