Iphone 3g stuck on syncing contacts, bookmarks, calendar!

Itunes will not sync any of them. I got them to sync about twice and yesterday they would not at all. No matter how long I waited. Is anybody else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it?

I had this problem.

For me it was because a small dialog box popped up behind itunes asking me if I wanted to sync my contacts, calendar etc.

Check and see if there is a sneaky hidden panel behind your itunes.
