Hey guys,

My girlfriend got an iphone off ebay to use with t-mobile. When she purchased it she put her sim in and another black chip the same size as the sim inside the phone. The chip allowed her to use the phone with t-mobile but once she left richmond it no longer works.

Cydia and Installer were not present on the springboard. Now i'm trying to use Pwnage tool to unlock the phone with yellowsn0w so that she can use her t-mobile service anywhere. Last night I accidentally updated the phone to the latest firmware instead of selecting my custom pwnage firmware. This updated the baseband but I found downbb through cydia to downgrade it. I then realized that my bootloader wasnt version 5.8 anymore either so I tried to downgrade to a different normal apple firmware to rebreak with the same firmware. Everything seemed to be running smoothly and about 3/4 into the restoration to the apple firmware I got an error message "The iPhone could not be restored an unknown error occured (1013)".

Is there anyway I can get the phone back to stock apple firmware so that I can restore and try to re-jailbreak again? When I reconnect the phone to itunes it is still in dfu mode and the recovery message pops up.

Please help?

Thanks

EDIT: Well, just read the part that said you updated. You can't use yellowsnow now. It's impossible now with the updated baseband. Ooops. Looks like you need to get AT&T service.
