Hey all! Are there any other locations for this besides the headphone jack on the 3G? Couldn't find this information about the 3G on this forum. iPhone is still functioning, but a bit unresponsive after it being dropped in water. The headphone jack is still white though, go figure.

hmmm... maybe its hidden inside?

Id say that it should be somewhere inside the phone, as the phone jack isnt just a small hole. Probably the water goes down into the phone and if sent to an Apple store, they'll end up openning it to see if there is any little red sticker or something. Because i dont think Apple would forget such small details on a phone like this....

inside

inside there are 2 white dots that turn pink when they get wet. There is one on the upper half of the phone and one on the bottom half of the phone. You unscrew the 2 screws in the bottom of the iphone and then pry the screen up with something thin and sharp ..inside on the phone board you will see the dots I'm refering to
